Sock Monkey Mania!

SO last fall I took a class at the american visionary arts museum about sock monkeys, this was like the first cool thing id ever learned how to make next to learning to print photographs and develop film, I've been obsessed ever since. I have had plenty of people ask me to make them one, and I'm considering setting up an ETSY account and selling them if anyone thinks its worth it. Each one takes me around 3-4 hours to make them.

These are some already made sock monkeys who are currently looking to be adopted into good homes.

And this is one that I am currently working on for a friends little boy, I know he needs arm's but I ran out of monkey guts (poly-fil), and as soon as I retrieve some from the store, he will have arms.

And this is one that I made for myself, because I had to keep one for myself, and I am considering taking him/her (haven't decided on a gender or name, and help would be much appreciated) on adventures and photographing it at various places. I love it because its so bright and happy.

If you're interested in purchasing one of the three already made sock monkeys above, let me know. I can also make a new one for you.

Also, I'm looking for some sort of customized tag that I can put on these so they say who they were made by... know of anything? Holla atcha guuurl.
